The SDR Cube was a single band 700 mW transceiver based on soft-rock transceiver kit and dsPic33FJ256 100pin microcontroller.
I improved this radio with a faster dsp (dsPic33EP512 64pin), rx preamp and attenuator, dual bandwith I/Q AF roofing filter, N x 3 band filter and 15 W power amplifier.
I have done some software modifications :
- due to faster dsp it allows 32 kHz sampling frequency (and 8 kHz)
- more FIR filters with improved and narrower characteristic
- handling band filter modules
- CW morse decoder
