My name is Pali. I was born in 1960, Békéscsaba-Hungary, and I still live here in my family house. Békéscsaba lies in the South-East part of Hungary, 200 km-s away from Budapest the capital city of Hungary.
About 75.000 people live in this gorgeous city.
Békéscsaba is the capital of Békés County the agricultural centre of Hungary.

My wife's name is Éva, we have three beautiful children, two daughters, Ágnes and Éva and one son Gábor.

I work as a printer, in our small printing press. In conclusion, QSL cards and printed LOG papers are made too here next to oder things. If you are interested in it, ask for price list in e-mail.

I started radio amateur hobby with my club station – HA8KWG - in 1973.

My own call sign is HA8AR that has been allowed since 1982. february.

My favorite mode is CW and the DX hunting also on HF and VHF and UHF.
My accessories consist of:

                           HF: ICOM 7400, Yaesu FT-897D, TS-520 (old but very like it)
                        ANT: 14 MHz home made 3 el. yagi,
                                    18-21-24-28-50 MHz 2 el. MOXON wire beam,
                                    and the lower bands
                                    are 22 m high vertical and a short Beverage antenna for RX.
                   RX ANT: short beverage and magnetic loop.

         VHF and UHF: TS790A
                                     144 MHz 10 el. DK7ZB yagi, 15 m up Pwr: 300W
                                     432 MHZ 21 el. F9FT yagi, 14 m up. Pwr: 45W.

My QRA is KN06MQ. about 80m at the sea level.

Nowadays I work so much on MS WSJT on VHF bands. If you want to meet me, you find me on the ON4KST.chat nearly every day.
I am also QRV on any satellite mode.
I take part in many contests, most of which are at weekends, so I get black points from my family members, mainly from my wife :))), but I have nice certificates from the organizers.
The Ham Radio is the second most important in my wild life only after my family.
