From The Life Of Bakony Radio Club:

Once upon a time there was MHSZ. It had a radio class. This radio class educated and formed the youth from day to day and from year to year...not few times in the right direction. The old tought the young how to operate and send morse-signals without taking care of time. Because of the good spirit of community there was a must to build a chain of clubs. This club (let's call it HA2KSD) got good results, and it got acknowledged all over the country. Many people's work needed to reach it. And at last the time has come, the moment...-that we was waiting! Suddenly there was nothing obligatory. I can do - nearly - everything freely. At last the possibilities are unlimited! After all of this it's a trifle that the club couldn't pay the room's fee which got ten times larger. To it all we had to piece a complete competition base and move it from a professional QTH. What? The QTH went dumb? We don't have the HQ? There's no place to meet? The education is over and the young disappear? That was the worst that could happen. But the membership survived, it transformed with new form and new name in a new world. The time to spend for the hobby got less and less because the money got more important. But we can understand that and I don't think it's a failure. The club - in spite of all this - is growing again. On the hill Hajag we got first home made short wave antenna, then exactly new aerials VHF for more bands and a reconstructed house from wood. We got a new callsign: HA2R. It was the result of a lot of work but we made it ...and the winter has come. The ice made as big damage to the aerials and the roof as a worker's salary over half year. Hoar frost, ice, wind and so much work and money, and the result went to the garbage can. We can understand the lot who gave up. It's spring again, new aerials...Everything works again...but how long ??
