Includes Mutek front end, Memory Option, AC lead.
Originally a new purchase in 1981 by my neighbour, who was meticulous in his care of this radio. I'm the second owner, since 1984. This has been used mostly for transverting, with a little use on 10m and 20m. Excellent condition, this has been well cared for - I count three scratches, for which I am responsible - my apologies. Front panel is unblemished. I keep a bubble wrap cover over it to avoid dust. Built like a tank, and always gets excellent audio reports. Includes Yaesu YM-35 microphone. I'm only selling since I intend to build my own radio for 10m or perhaps 17m. No doubt I'll regret it when it's gone.
Built originally for 50MHz in 1986 and subsequently reworked for 70MHz in about 2003. Sensitive receiver.
Designed
for UHF. Bolt holes at the far end of this load, so suitable for test bench or equipment mounting. Power dissipation not quoted, although I reckon it’s good for 25W continuous, or 100W peak.
Plug & Play transverter module. -10dBm in at 10.7MHz & 133.3MHz converts up to 144MHz, 30dBm out. 1950MHz, may well tune higher, I haven't the kit to test. Very well made. 8 silver plated cavities and slugs. Board from a mast head preamp. Four devices. Not tested.

Purchased in 2001. Used a few times /P from IO83GC, but never mobile. This is a lovely set, a classic. I'm only selling since I'm building my own 2m multimode TRX, and would like someone else to keep this venerable radio on air. Ever VHF DXer deserves a '225!
Receive path looped to rear panel for minimum loss access to the front end, or for use with external amplifier. Includes a few FIX channel crystals, such as 144.430 (GB3VHF).
Faults:
As of 2025 the memory module's failed.
Two of the front panel knobs have developed faint hair line cracks.
The Mode switch can be noisy.
Fault:
It's developed very slight backlash over the years - about 100Hz every 5kHz; insignificant, but needs to be mentioned. A common problem with geared VFOs.
