Pye PF1 Pocketphones
1965 - 1972 but still used up to 1980
Probably 80,000 to 100,000 pairs (do you know any more accurate figures?)

40-50 pairs.  Receivers were sold by the stillage at one Pound each at radio rallies circa 1980 mainly by Anchor Surplus of Nottingham. Most PF1 transmitters were crushed, nearly all sold were PF1 receivers.  AG Thacker had approximately 30,000 yellow Varta batteries for sale Circa 1983.
