GFARC is based in Southern California with our membership residing in the
Orange and Los Angeles Sections of the ARRL Southwestern Division.

We are a social group of friendly amateur radio operators with an emphasis on fun and contest operating on HF and VHF bands.

Among our ranks are accredited ARRL Volunteer Examiners (VEs) who donate their time so that prospective and existing hams may have the opportunity to take licensing examinations for this great hobby.
