Finding TNOS - UCSD
This is one of the preferred ways to get TNOS on the Internet. While lantz.com is the master site and is the actual machine that TNOS development is done on, it is connected to the Internet via a 56K Frame Relay link. No bad, but downloads from UCSD will be faster and more responsive.
UCSD is an official TNOS mirror site, which is updated daily at about 3 a.m. EST.
To get TNOS from UCSD, FTP to ftp.ucsd.edu then "cd" to /hamradio/packet/tcpip/tnos/current. The TNOS release files can be found there.
Or take an FTP short cut to UCSD from there.
