TDP Tools

The TNOS Documentation Project (TDP) documents are being produced in SGML format, to make it easier to produce finished documents in a variety of formats from the same source documents. ASCII text, HTML, Postscript, DVI, and INFO formats will be available for most of the documents. MAN pages will be available in both MAN format and HTML.

The SGML tools being used by the TDP are based upon the Linuxdoc-SGML package, modified for the TDP's needs. Since there are very few differences from the writers viewpoint, these are the Linuxdoc documents, for the most part.

Documentation is available on the following topics.

• Linuxdoc package (TAR/GZ'ed).
  This is NOT required in order to produce documents for the TDP.
• TNOSdoc package - diffs to Linuxdoc (GZ'ed).
  This is NOT required in order to produce documents for the TDP.
• The Linuxdoc-SGML User's Guide
  In various formats: Postscript, DVI, INFO, TXT, PDF, and the original SGML source document.
• Sample Man Page template and the formatted Man Page it produces.
• Sample HOWTO template and the Postscript document it produces.
