A GUIDE TO ATV

British Amateur Television Club

The British Amateur Television Club or “BATC” for short was formed in the early 1950's to promote the interest of television from transmitting to the construction of TV cameras. The group quickly grew from having only a hand-full of members in those early days. Today they organize contests, so like-minded amateurs can compete with their equipment. They also organize an excellent Rally which usually takes place in the Midlands area of the UK around April or May time.

Last but by no means least they have a members service department that supplies PCBs and other sometimes difficult to obtain components for members to construct their own ATV related equipment. You may also order back issues & photo-copies of past articles from their publications department.
