IC-R1 scanner tip

In order to get the scanner to scan in 9kHz steps, note that BOTH the lower
AND upper frequencies selected for the scan MUST be divisible by 9kHz. Thus a
scan from 153kHz to 1629kHz in 9kHz steps will work, but setting the lower
limit at 152/154kHz or thye upper limit to 1628/1630kHz won't work. A
calculator is now required to work out the freq ranges (it's a pity that a
calculator  wasn't built into the unit).
