FT23R (and others) to TNC
                   =========================

Like many HT's that are out now the FT23 uses a 2.5 mm mono plug for the PTT
and microphone audio on the same conductor, plus of course ground. (The
receive audio is no problem since it comes out on a 3.5 mm mono plug.)

Information was found a few months back in the GLB PK-1 TNC manual which
enabled it to be wired to work with an Icom micro-2AT. Transmit worked well
with this radio so with some minor modifications (ie. component value
changes), this method should work with almost all modern HT's.
