Here you can see the filter extension pipe along the back of my 3 foot tank
and the flexible pipe connecting it to the filter outlet. In this tank I run the
output extension pipe over the internal lip in the tank as a waterfall. notice
the prolific plant growth. |

Two siphons used for gravel cleaning, one for shallow tanks the other for 12 inch
plus. The whale water pump is used for filling the tanks and water changes. Dont
half save a lot of bucket lifting. Only drawback is 12 volts dc needed. |
The fry growing on tank, long and shallow for easy cleaning. This is also the birthing
tank as fish do better left where they were born. See also the brine shrimp
hatcher. This is a developing measure with a plastic tube fitted for the airstone,
over a coffee cup warmer. White stick is thermometer. |
