There are many stations equipped with radios with 6m coverage, but it seems that the majority of them only use them for SSB during the summer sporadic-E season. But what are they missing?
My primary transceivers for 6m FM are an Alinco DR-M06, which gives 10W from the home QTH or mobile, and a Yaesu FT817 with 5W out. I had a VX7-R tri-band handie for a while too.
Here is a list of the contacts I've made on 6m FM in 2007/8:

If you're intetrested in joining a net on 6m FM, have a listen for the GB2RS News on 51.53MHz at 10:30am and 9pm on Sundays, and call in to the net which forms afterwards, or if you'd like to try a sked with me on 6m FM, then please get in touch.
