Employment History:-

Jan1998 - Present time. Contracted Y2K Telecommunication Project , both in the . UK&US.

 

June 1997-Jan 1998 I worked as a Project Manager again, with TISL Telephone Call Logging systems.

 

Sept1996-June 1997 Various projects, inc. "ClairePro" call logging system (Setting up, running & automating the network)& year2000 Project, Also responsible for liasing with the System providers,PPT'S for the best, contracts.

 

June1996-Sept1996 Operations manager, responsible for Nessco Caspian Ltd (Baku)

Liasing & selling systems, products to clients, liasing with government ministries, providing

engineering support on Telecomm systems, from Trunked radio systems,

interconnected by Sat Earth stations, to Radio, Inmarsat installations on

Supply boats (To meet GMDSS). Here I gained a lot of in-country

knowledge & found it very easy to adapt to the environment, I enjoyed

the challenge of working in such a challenging country.

 

May 1993 - June 1996: Contracted to "AGIP UK" as the Telecommunications Engineer on the

Tiffany platform in the North Sea, Responsible for all Telecomm/IT systems as detailed later, & Project work., I was very heavily involved

also with the hook up stage.

 

May 1991-May 1993 Contracted to "Shell UK" initially as the Senior Telecommunications

field Technician, responsible for all the Telecomm systems on the

"Flotels", & later as the Senior Telecomm Technician on the "Brent Bravo" Platform Maintaining, installing & Project work on the platform.

 

June 1990-May 1993 East Anglian Electronics, Based in their workshops, my work entailed both onshore, offshore & overseas projects, maintenance, installation & repair of Telecomm systems , as detailed later.

 

July 89 - Aug & Dec-May 89 Marconi Marine Int UK,Here I was employed as an Senior Electronics Radio Officer, where my duties were those of an R/O plus maintenance of instrumentation, Radios, Radar & Inmarsat on deep sea ships around the world.

 

Aug 88-July 89 & Sept-Dec89 EB Communications, My job was basically for the same duties as above, Although initially employed as an R/O then E.R.O & finally senior R/O where I had a junior officer under me. I served on seven vessels total, deep sea around the world.

 

March 88 - July 88 Cotswold Telecommunications, Employed as a Telecommunications Engineer, Working with Mr T Blick (Managing Director), my responsibilities were:- Installation, maintenance, system design & customer sales of Telecomm systems. Comprising:-Cellular systems, VHF/UHF PMR systems, Radio Paging, PA, PBX & general telephone installation & maintenance, CCTV systems & field service engineering.

 

Dec 87-March 88 The F.C.O employed me in an sensitive area,

January 87-November 87 GEC Telecommunications,My job title here was a fibre optic Technician, working on "system X", I left this employment as I felt that I could not reach the full height of , my potential, as I was only working on Fibre optic systems in an factory environment.

 

Further education:-

 

Sept1983-Dec 1986 Here I attended an intensive education whilst on the HNC course in

Wray Castle College, Marine Electronic Telecommunication Engineering, DTI Radar & Ambleside, Cumbria. Maritime Radio General Certificate (Radio Officer Exam) which I passed in 1986. Link To Wray Castle Collage Ambleside

Kings School Gloucester (Private Education) Pitt Street, Gloucester. Here I passed 5 "O" Levels in June 1983:- English Literature, English Language, Geography, Geometrical/Mechanical Drawing & Physics.

I was highly involved in Rugby, Basketball & Swimming at Kings School Gloucester.

 

Other Activities:-

Amateur radio (G4WUH), Swimming, Reading, Travelling, Cycling, I was A Radio Presenter At a radio station (Voice of Azerbaijan) in Baku, reading the English news & conducting interviews.
