G4VXE QSL Info

Please read this page carefully!

Whilst I appreciate the pleasure that some people get from QSLing, it is an aspect of the hobby which quite honestly, irritates me. Why, in the 21st century we should feel the need to send pieces of cardboard around the world to confirm a radio contact, I simply don't know.

But I know that you need QSLs for awards. If you need a card from me, then if you follow these guidelines, you should be able to get one for the following operations: G4VXE, GW4VXE, GJ4VXE, G4VXE/TF, G4VXE/C6A and SV9/G4VXE. Sorry, but I do not have the logs for ZB2IQ or 9H3LF any longer.

1. Don't send a card to my callbook address, past or present - instead send a card to my excellent QSL manager, G3SWH. Phil's contact information is Phil Whitchurch, 21 Dickensons Grove, Congresbury, Bristol, BS19 5HQ. United Kingdom.

2. If you like, instead of sending a card via the bureau, to G3SWH - send Phil an e-mail containing details of the QSO that you would like confirmed and he will send you a card via the bureau. This is quicker, saves you a card and saves trees!

3. Better still, check out the eqsl.cc web site. I know they don't count for awards - at least yet. I've uploaded my recent G4VXE logs and the SV9/G4VXE logs there so you can download an electronic QSL from there. This is surely a better way of QSLing!

You can even check here, to see if you have any e-qsls waiting!
