Mine has been mounted inside overflow pipe cut into sections small enough to fit in rucksack. The joins are push fit couplers from B&Q.

A peg through the top section and a rubber band cable tied to the top of antenna acts a spring load for quick assembly / disassemblt.

By feeding antenna through a hole up the bottom section the antenna can be mounted on a shortened roach pole or an inverted walking pole.
