These webpages are mainly about ARDF but I include a little bit of information about my station below.
I live near Cannock in the central part of the UK and my main hobbies are ham radio, running, and ARDF. I've been licenced sinced 1979 and tend to operate 2m during enhanced conditions, tropo, sporadic E, aurora etc.
I run an FT847 with a 400W VHF amplifier and a pair of 12 ele M square antennas. The QTH is quite good for 2m operation being approx 190m asl.

And here is my training partner, Simba. A black and Tan Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. Despite his short legs he is fast and has limitless energy. We often run over Cannock Chase, it's his favourite pastime!
