Harissa is best known for its 13 tonne bronze statue of the Virgin and for the 15 minute cable-car ride to it from Jounieh.

Atop the ajoining Maronite Christian basilica is the transmitting antenna for Radio Alleluia (95.9MHz). Four tiers of two 3 element yagis per tier point north and south. You can see the tower at the left side of the roof.
