These were
taken in the mid 1950s.
The transmitter at French chain slave station in
Lannemezan (probably the green station).
The transmitter
used large valves running at a high voltage.

The diesel generator wagon in Lannemezan.
The fuel tank is high up on the left and the
spare drums of fuel are on the ground. A hand pump was used to fill the fuel
tank.
