The camera is such a simple instrument. A box with a hole at one end and a photo-sensitive receptor at the other. And yet it is capable of capturing an instant in time and preserve it forever to allow future generations to see what it itself once saw. Some of the most memorable photographs ever to be taken were taken with the simplest of cameras. In this age of expensive digital cameras, worn by many as male jewellery, it is important to realise that it is not the camera that takes good photographs - it is the photographer.
