Located in the village 'Ruyton of the Eleven Towns' (usually known as Ruyton XI Towns) near the town of Shrewsbury in the county of Shropshire, England.

Mid way between Shrewsbury and Oswestry, close to the border between England and Wales in the United Kingdom.

These days, I'm not regularly active on the air, but as an IBM retiree I do try to keep an eye out for the IBM QSO party that used to take place each year but has become less predictable in recent years.

Details and rules for this ‘annual’ event for IBMers and retirees can be found at http://ibmhams.w0ry.net/.  There is also a list of known amateurs worldwide who have IBM connections.

I try to keep this page up to date! Most recent update 24 April 2012.

In the meantime you might like to look at the following web pages:

My embryonic personal home site. Includes pages of local interest, amateur radio, and some of my other interests, e.g. canals, trams, railways, birds etc. But sadly in need of updating.
