Very cute website. I got to your website via a hyper link from radio talk show host Neal Boortz's very good website, boortz.com. I was a U.S. Army 'ditty bopper' (AKA: High Speed Morse Code Interceptor) during the Vietnam era and grew enormously sick of dit's and dot's; but, it was most interesting and frustrating to have all our hot poop flushed down the toilet by Washington 'suits.' As you can tell, I'm still very bitter about the 10,000's of American lives lost and millions of Oriental lives lost in the S.E. Asia War Games (AKA: The Vietnam 'War' (AKA: Police Action)) Again, cute website. I downloaded your 'Curious,' and will present it to my singles group for discussion. Most Sincerely!

Grass roots Amateur Radio at its best, Richard. I used to often go out portable to the Welsh hills with a liner 2 in the early/mid 70's, hi. Really enjoyed it. You should consider Barbados for a DXpedition, good walking country, quite hilly, especially the eastern side, dramatic views over the Atlantic. A few trees for the antennas too.

Hi Richard, Well done on your efforts in setting up the site - you've clearly lead an eventful life. which has enabled you to enjoy amateur radio to the full! The little trailing message which followed my mouse cursor around the screen imploring me to sign the guestbook clearly did the trick, hi!! 73 David

Richard--really an outstanding web page. I must spend more time with it I'm sure. It's nice to see someone who "walks the talk" for Adventure Radio. Too many armchair mountaineers! Will send your url to my son and others. My son (KA7EXM) just returned from a windy/rainy mountain top weekend of VHF contesting. I was out with HF earlier in the summer. Keep up the good work. 73, Wes
