Using S meter Lite by W8WWV I have been monitoring various signals in both frequency and amplitude. The following are examples of results:
Plot 1 Jan 7/8 2004 signal on 3572 at about 200km distance. Diurnal variation takes standard form showing D layer absorption centred around mid-path mid-day. Note periods where the strength is quite stable and others where there is more variation.
