A "Strays" item in the April 2005 QST (pg95) notes that the Boston Marathon is looking for communications volunteers for this year's event.

"I would like to get in touch with... Any hams who would like to participate in the communications effort for the Boston Marathon on April 18, 2005. Amateurs should have their own 2 meter portable with extra batteries.
