As we head through the Fall and into Winter, the Fairfax ARES group has been involved in many projects. We will soon be installing permanent 2m and 440 radio/antenna setups at both Dulles Airport and Fairfax Hospital in order to assist us in the event of a call-up or disaster requiring communications. And we'll soon start working with the other critical INOVA medical locations on designing and installing similar installations! We are also finalizing MOU's with these various organizations so they know of our capabilities in the time of need.

The relationship with the American Red Cross, National Capital Chapter, has been re-kindled and we look forward to establishing a relationship like we had when they were located in Merrifield!

And with the Winter weather approaching, we are working out details with INOVA Fairfax Hospital and some of the nursing homes to see how we can BEST provide comm and 4WD support!

And finally a Big Hand for the Mount Vernon ARC (and their endless support of public service efforts) for their recent accomplishments with the Fairfax County Police Department!
