The
Emporia Amateur Radio Society is currently restoring and modifying a
small travel trailer for use in Emergency Communications. Many of the
club members are also
members of the Amateur Radio Emergency Service. The trailer is to be
used as
a Mobile Communications Center for rapid deployment in times
of
emergency. We
welcome any support, either in materials or monetary. We are a
non-profit organization, and donations are tax deductable. This trailer
will be a very useful
resource to Lyon and Greenwood counties, which are served by our ARES
district.
The trailer is currently disasembled and ready for rebuilding to fit
