Old Business:

VE7CRJ Invermere problems are fixed for now.
VE7CRJ Creston repeater was up on Sunday Nov. 4th but only
lasted for a few hours.
VE7CRJ Videos (5 of them) are now here for borrowing by club
members.
VE7SKT Letter to MP's re: proposed changes has been sent.
VE7SKT Article was sent to the paper, approximately 1200 words
on Ham radio.
VE7CRJ Pastor of the Church (Kings Chapel at the highway 95
and Wycliff-Park road) has given permission to use the
basement for meetings.
VE7CRJ RAC has rescinded the membership increase (voice of the
people has been heard?).
VE7CRJ Bingos and our participation in them will be
investigated by a committee headed by VE7OG.
VE7CRJ Thanks to VE7BGO who donated a dozen yellow safety
vests to the club.
VE7CRJ The repeater on Baker Mtn. has been adjusted to avoid
some of the noise problem.
VE7CRJ The following codes control the northern repeater
drop. 70 # turns on the drop to the North
71 # puts it into monitor mode
72 # turns it off.
We should turn off the North link before using the
phone patch. If the day ever comes when we are linked
into SARA, we will need to do that.

New Business:

MOTION: VE7BGO sec VE7LOC that "the EKARC donate $50 to the
heart fund in memory of VE7ADN" CARRIED.

VE7OG Proposed the club buy a soldering station for
maintaining the repeaters. Will come up for motion
next meeting.

VE7OG Proposed the club purchase a "Bird" sniffer (not for
sniffing out birds, Springer Spaniels are better for
that) for approximately $150. VE7OG will bring one to
the next meeting as a demo.

VE7OG We have some equipment secured from forestry, will
report next meeting.

MOTION: VE7LOC sec VE7OG that the EKARC purchase materials to a
limit of $500 to enclose VE7CRJ's shed for storage of
club equipment. CARRIED Discussion was held on having
a "hay shed closing in" bee (Not an LOC kind of bee).

VE7NEK The following members are tardy with dues: VE7DLU,
VE7GZ, VE7HOP, VE7HQC, VE7KPB, VE7MWE, VE7TGA, VE7WFL,
VE7MUT, VE7TNJ.
