Reports of Sick or Injured Amateurs:
Correspondence:
- The bill for the club's Post Office Box has arrived - $65.00 plus GST.
- Letter from the CNIB - another report on their funds appeal - to be examined under new
business.
- Newsletter from the Prime Ministers Office.
Old Business:
- Bingo on March 29th saw an income of just under $800.00 - next dates are April 19th and
26th.
- VE7OG presented Mocomm 70 challenge winner VE7SKT with a $25.00 gift certificate
compliments of Cliff (VE7WWC) and the Western Wireless Company.
- There have been 12 people who have to date expressed an interest in taking the upcoming
course. VE7OG broached the topic of having Elmers in place for this years group of
students (there were four people who volunteered to be Elmers last time around), the
response seemed to be favorable.
- The question of whether a student who participated in last years course and was
unsuccessful could simply write the exam during this years course (without having to pay
for the entire course) was raised by VE7TED. It was decided that he could indeed just
write the exam without paying (isn't that VE7OG character just an all around swell guy!) -
no, we won't be holding a vote on that one.
- Due to the shortened Shuttle mission, no contacts were made.
- VE7NEK reported that plans for the banquet continue - Saturday April 26th @ the
Alpenrose restaurant Kimberley - it will be a buffet style meal costing $15.00 per person
(tip included) - those interested should let Ken know by the Sunday prior to the banquet.

- VE7CRJ stated that the club will likely be asked to participate in the Accordion Festival
