Motion Moved VE7SKT, Seconded VE7EDM, that the
EKARC investigate an IRLP system for
VE7LOC A discussion was held around the pricing
for the annual dinner and what could be done if less than the required number
of participants were found to attend.
Consensus was reached that the executive decide on how to deal with any
overage incurred in holding the dinner.

VE7ERG that we give $50 to the Selkirk dry grad committee as per their
request. DEFEATED
VE7SKT A discussion around how we could help the
dry grad committee of Selkirk school without incurring financial cost was
held. VE7SKT will contact the committee
for further particulars
VE7CRJ Two volunteers are needed to do the annual
audit. VE7SKT & VE7ERG will meet
with VE7NEK on Saturday to complete the audit.
VE7LOC 2 copies of the newest question bank are
now in the EKARC library.
A
very complete and interesting account of the full day in-service for Emergency
Social Services (E.S.S.) workers was given by Kathy, VE7KFR. A lively discussion followed regarding the
role of amateur radio in such emergency situation as were described by Kathy. Thank you Kathy!
