Annual Picnic – September 19, 2004

MOTION: Adopt the minutes of the previous meeting as circulated.

Moved VE7SKT Seconded VE7NEK. Carried.

 

CORRESPONDENCE:

-         No Correspondence.

 

BUSINESS ARISING FROM THE MINUTES:

 

VE7CRJ          -    Field Day was a success.

-         A thank you was given to all who helped with the successful parking at the

Accordion Championships in Kimberley.

 

TREASURER’S REPORT : VE7NEK

MOTION:        Adopt the treasurer’s report as circulated.  Moved VE7NEK Seconded VE7RWD CARRIED.

 

NEW BUSINESS:

 

VE7CRJ          -     After two trips, the Sparwood link into Coleman is now operational.

Levels still need to be set.

-         The Link into the Okanagan is now operational. VE7CRJ will be doing a

summary sheet of Link control codes

-         The Mount Baker west link radio  has been swapped out for a Glenayre unit.

-         The IRLP node is now up and running at VE7NEK’s residence.

-         Ginny Garner is now the new PEP manager for BC south and central regions

VE7SKT          -    VE7SKT will contact the PEP trainees with regard to the time and place of

       the last of three training sessions for PEP.

VE7LOC         -    Much appreciated help was given by VE7LOC, VE7CRJ and VE7NEK in dealing with

     the estate of VE7ESW.
