The President introduced Mike Stanford VE7 MOS. 

The minutes of the last meeting were read.
Moved by VE7 BJ seconded by VE7 PJ that the minutes be adopted as read. 

Old Business

VE7 CR asked about the money that was to be paid to Sylvia. It was stated that she declined payment.

The Field Day report was given and although there was not a large turnout, the group who came thought it was well done and worth the effort.

The Picnic Report was given by Joe VE7 CRJ. The weather turned out good and a good time was had by all who came out. 

The Senior Games were a success and a vote of thanks was given to the radio club for their help with the communications. 

The bike race was held with help from the radio club.

The remote base is back up and working well .  

There will be a Bingo Saturday Sept. 18 and it was stated that there is enough help for this Bingo.

New Business

Packet Report: There is still a chance we will get Lethbridge again. 

Bonners is shut down because of an interference problem. 

There is no 13 BS at Libby at this time. 

It was reported that there is a noise coming on the repeater but it is working good. 

Joe VE7 CRJ is still working on the Packet for Creston project. 

Ken VE7 KPB gave a report on the 2 meter DX. 

George BE7 BGO gave a report on his satellite work. MIR is now ROMIR-1 for packet on 145 550.  

George VE7 CR asked if we could make a donation to the Cat Scan project. 
M/S: VE7 PJ - VE7 KPB that we donate $500.00 to the Cat Scan.

September 1993 continued.....

It was suggested that we should have ham classes again. Ken VE7 KPB stated that we should form a committee for this  project. After some discussion and no volunteers to head up this group, it was suggested that we bring this up at the next  meeting. 

George VE7 BGO asked about the club getting a trailer for our field day equipment. 

Parley VE7 BJ moved our meeting be adjourned.
