MOTION: Adopt the minutes of the previous meeting as circulated.

Moved VE7KD  Seconded VE7MX. Carried.

 

CORRESPONDENCE:

-         CNIB request for a donation was received along with a Silver Award Certificate.

 

BUSINESS ARISING FROM THE MINUTES:

 

VE7CRJ          -    The Creston repeater is once again operational

-         The old Mt. Baker repeater building has been dismantled and ready for burning

-         $500 has been received for parking at the Accordion Championships

-         The Invermere site is now operational and Hall Mountain quit working October 08/05

-         No contact throughout the summer from the Provincial Emergency Program.

-         Field Day was a success with station operation going for 24 hours.

VE7SKT          -    A message handling event will occur: Monday October 6, 2005 at 9:00pm on 146.940

VE7KFR         -   Emergency Social Services will meet in Kimberley on October 19, 2005.

NEW BUSINESS:

 

 

VE7CRJ:  -     A remote base will be set up at VE7BMO’s house in Golden

-         A new Shaw Cable building has been put in use on Morrisey Ridge.

-         A malfunctioning audio chip in the Sparwood repeater needs attention.

-         APRS on Midgley will be moved into the EKARC building.
