BUSINESS ARISING FROM THE MINUTES:
VE7LOC Resignation
of VE7AOA as V.P. brings up the need for a new VP. Notify VE7LOC if you are willing to let
your name stand.
VE7CRJ Slocan Ridge is up and running, we need a building but one
is available from Renato. By the next week it will
hopefully be up and running.
The
IRLP node will probably stay on VHF for technical reasons.
The
Golden group has not yet acted on putting up a new repeater in their area yet.
The
Sparwood codes are 720# on, and 721# off.

discussion revolved around the issue of advertising a new ham radio course.
MOTION: We will spend up to $100 to advertise to the public to gather
expressions of interest in taking an amateur radio course. Moved VE7SKT, seconded VE7RWD. CARRIED.
VE7LOC A
discussion was held on the potential of getting a grant from Columbia Basin
Trust. VE7HH will investigate the logistics.
VE7CRJ Volunteers
are needed to help out with the Bingo Nov. 9th.
VE7LOC LOC
presented an update on the airport towers including the newly acquired lights,
wire and pipes.
