The President VE7 CRJ Joe, opened the meeting.

Called for any sick or injured.
It was stated that Paul VE7 ETY is doing okay and Daryle VE7 ZAC is also improving.

Minutes of the last meeting were read.
Moved by VE7 BJ seconded by VE7 KPB that minutes be adopted as read.

Old Business

It was stated by the President, that Paul VE7 ETY would chair the committee for classes. He asked if they could start after  Christmas. It was suggested that they start early, for the younger ones. The cost would be one year dues, plus the price of the  instruction book. 

It was reported that the Bingo went well and the next one will be on November 13th. and they will need help to run it. 

The Creston Packet mode is in place and doing okay.

The repeater 146 96 in Bonners is back on.   

Joe stated that he gave a Sinclair Yagi to VE6 JR to try on Packet: also that he got a good signal back to Cranbrook from  Pincher Creek Station. 

There is a good signal from Fort Macleod to Creston. 

VE7 ERP Ken from Nelson is going to put on a 440 link on Mt. Nelson for Packet. 

The Phone patch is on and working well.

New Business

The Scouts Jamboree on the Air is on Saturday October 16. The club station will set up at the Scout Hall at Cranbrook.  There  will also be two or three stations operating in Kimberley.
