BUSINESS ARISING FROM THE MINUTES:
VE7CRJ - Printed repeater frequencies and codes were
made available

VE7RBN,
(Creston Club President) is moving to Ft Nelson. VE7JDC replaces him.

The
Midgley site is back in place and we have permission
to use the RCMP tower.

The
Invermere repeater is still “picketing.” The 145.850
is the better frequency.

The
IRLP is up and running on a newer version of Linux.

NEW BUSINESS:
VE7CRJ - Crawford Bay repeater plans are not yet in place
- VE7CRJ will be attending a Vancouver PEP meeting and will enquire about the non-involvement of amateur radio in a recent local PEP training exercise.
- There is an audio picketing glitch from the Invermere VHF radio.
VE7LOC - A brief report on BPL (broadband over powerlines) was given
VE7SKT - Suggested the EKARC hold an emergency simulation exercise. VE7SKT will
prepare the necessary forms and paperwork needed.
