MOTION: Adopt the minutes of the previous meeting as circulated.

Moved VE7CRQ.   Seconded VE7TED. Carried.

CORRESPONDENCE:

            A thank-you card for the contribution made by our members to the summer

            fire fighting was circulated.

 

BUSINESS ARISING FROM THE MINUTES:

 

VE7CRJ            Intermittent repeater noise on Baker continues so will be changed out

                          for a new MSR unit in the spring.

                        Discussion followed the handout of the Southern Interior Repeater Group

                        Kootenay UHF Trunk Map of Linked repeaters.  It is available on the club web page.  http;//www.qsl.net/ekarc

VE7NEK            $100.00 was sent to the CNIB.

MOTION:            Adopt the treasurer’s report as circulated.  Moved VE7NEK, Seconded VE7KD.  CARRIED.

 

NEW BUSINESS:

 

VE7CRJ            There will be another meeting of the radio group in Kamloops to discuss fires

            and radio systems.

            On the last trip to Jubilee, it was observed the Shaw Cable tower was underutilized

            and it may be possible to move the Jubilee repeater to Shaw Cable’s tower to enable

            better coverage to the south.

 

MOTION:            That the EKARC seek permission to use the Shaw Cable tower.
