Meeting chaired by Gerry VE7 KD.

There were two visitors introduced; Cathy and Dave Barry. Other guests included: Marty VE7 MWE and Alan VE7 EAG Edwards of Jaffray; Mike Paradise VE7 MLP of Squamish.

Motion by Parley VE7 BJ seconded by Keith VE7 KAX that the minutes of the last meeting be adopted as handed out.

Old Business

The last Bingo brought in $460.00. The next Bingo will be Nov. 19th. 

There was a discussion on ham classes. It was suggested that we get about 12 to sign up and start classes around Jan. 15th.. 

It was also suggested that the Weekender would be a good place to advertise.

Gerry VE7 Kd talked about the Radio Amateurs of Canada and their drive for new members.

Pete VE7 ADN also stated that members should join R.A.C.. 

George VE7 BGO stated that we should have a choice of whether we want the magazine or not.

New Business

George VE7 KD read out an Interference Document.

A letter from the CNIB Amateur Radio Program was read out.
Motion by Dave VE7 ERG that we donate to this program After a lengthy discussion, there was no seconder so the motion was dropped.

Reg VE7 EHH suggested that the club should be looking at buying some test equipment as we will not always have technicians who have access to test equipment.

November 1994 continued.....

Bob VE7 PJ said we should try New Horizons again for a grant.

Colin VE7 JJ spoke on the local BBS and what changes are going to be made.
