MOTION: Adopt the minutes of the previous meeting as circulated.

Moved VE7KFR Seconded VE7NEK. Carried.

CORRESPONDENCE:

            Bills: Post Office Box Rental, BC Hydro and Telephone.

 

BUSINESS ARISING FROM THE MINUTES:

 

VE7CRJ          No response yet to Field Day email to Creston Valley Amateur Club.

                        VE7CRJ volunteered his place for field day.

                        PEP Victoria Meeting - likely to be more amateur involvement in the future

                        VE7CRJ will attend a Search Manager’s meeting in Creston: May 24, 2003.

                        Audit of the EKARC is completed

                        Enquiries have been made re the purchase of club radios and repeaters

NEW BUSINESS:

 

VE7CRJ          Emergency Communication Training to be held the second week in June.

                        Another repeater from Williams Lake has been donated to the Club

                        There is a good article on Fox Hunting in April CQ Magazine

                        VE7CRJ will make up a transmitter for a fox hunt at our June Meeting.

 

VE7LOC         VE7LOC volunteered his place for the June 10, 2003 meeting. The meeting

                        will follow a barbeque at 5:00 pm. Burgers, pop and coffee supplied. Members

                         to bring either a salad or a desert

                        Tnx to those who volunteered to do security at the Children’s Festival

 

VE7KPB         Reported that Geo-caching is a growing sport in the area with lots of new sites.
