OLD BUSINESS ARISING FROM THE MINUTES:

 

VE7NEK         An I.N.G. savings account has been opened, with a deposit of $100 and subsequent transferral of the $6400 with 2.25% interest.

 

VE7CRJ          Bingo Report.  The next Bingo is March 30th, volunteers are to arrive at 1pm.

NEW BUSINESS:

 

VE7NEK         The club insurance is due.  Quotes were discussed from Holmes and RAC included both liability and all perils.

 

MOTION:          EKARC will purchase insurance from RAC for the 2002 year with the understanding that the liability will be increased to 2 million when available from RAC.  Moved VE7AOA, seconded VE7NEK.  CARRIED.

VE7KFR         Red Cross emergency preparations meeting will be held March 25th, at the fire hall in Kimberley.  Also an ESS seminar will be held April 27th at COTR, 1-3pm.

 

VE7CRJ          Volunteers are needed to help out with the Bingo paperwork.

 

VE7LOC         Unauthorized repeater use has been noticed.  Members are encouraged to make a note of any seeming unauthorized use.

 

VE7NEK         Attended a course on incident command 200.  This is the system used by government agencies in communicating during emergencies.
