Annual BBQ held at Wilks-Kahn (VE7LOC).  11 members present. Chair: VE7CRJ

MOTION: Adopt the minutes of the previous meeting as circulated.

Moved VE7SKT Seconded VE7LH. Carried.

CORRESPONDENCE:

            A receipt for insurance was received.

 

BUSINESS ARISING FROM THE MINUTES:

 

VE7CRJ          The Children’s Festival was a success. EKARC security was appreciated.

The lock has been replaced at the Fairmont repeater site

                        MOTION: That $76.99 for lock costs be paid.

Moved VE7LTW Seconded VE7XTP. Carried.

                        The EKARC books have been audited by VE7SKT and VE7ERG

Field day is scheduled at VE7CRJ’s place (June 28/29).

Hall Mountain batteries are now recharging

                        The Trail Club did not participate in the PEP training exercise

NEW BUSINESS:

 

VE7CRJ          - Volunteers are need for parking duties at the Kimberley Accordian Festival: July 7-12.

- VE7CRJ will install antennae on the roof of the Cranbrook EOC.

                        - A PEP exercise is scheduled for October in Invermere.

                        - VE7CRJ will be doing work on the Nelson PREOC on June 6th.

                        - The Annual Picnic arrangements will try for the first two weeks of August.

                        -VE7LOC suggested that a Welcome/Information page be sent out to new Amateurs.
