BUSINESS ARISING FROM THE MINUTES:
VE7CRJ The Bingo licence is now good for 3
years. We are putting insurance for our
repeaters for the next 3 years, ($700, $750, $800), 3
solar panes ($2100) for Jubilee Mtn., replacement
& solar regulator & new IRLP computer for the 3rd year in
the budget. Some of the previous year’s
budget items which remain unspent will be allocated for the building upgrade on
Baker, a portable repeater, a commercial radio for PEP use, and new safety
vests for members on duty.
VE7LOC A new course will be up and running for
5 weeks starting early in Feb.
VE7LOC Meeting location by consensus will stay
at the ABC restaurant until further notice.

VE7CRJ Elections are imminent. Vacant positions are V.P, Pres. & Secretary.
VE7LOC The Creston Club has passed a motion to
disband and turn over their assets to the EKARC. Discussion surrounding the
logistics of such a move were held.
MOTION: To inform the Creston Club that the
EKARC is in favour of accepting their equipment and assets and will look
forward to accepting their members as part of the EKARC Moved VE7TED seconded VE7SKT. CARRIED
