MOTION: Adopt the minutes of the previous meeting as circulated.

BUSINESS ARISING FROM THE MINUTES:

Creston repeater has antenna problems and is intermittent. There is no controller so is only local or direct with no linking to Baker.

The lin k to the east is working but does have a few problems as well with some other interference when linked to the Foothills network.

There are some emergency management courses available for home study as prerequisites for the Radio operation course being held in Nelson March 6.

MOTION: Adopt the treasurer’s report as circulated. Moved VE7NEK, Seconded VE7KFR. CARRIED.

NEW BUSINESS:

VE7NEK will work with VE7LOC and VE7ZIP to find a suitable location for the annual banquet meeting.

There will be a simulated emergency exercise in Trail sometime in late May.

VE7MX will try to obtain some hi visibility vests for emergency use.

Nominations;

VE7NEK will continue as treasurer

VE7LOC nominated for secretary

VE7CRJ, TED, & KD will consider taking President and vice President positions

VE7CRJ has access to the EOC in Cranbrook and offered to give a tour to persons interested at a date to be determined.
