Held at the Kimberley Western Lodge.  16 members present. Chair: VE7CRJ

 

SICK OR INJURED AMATEURS:

VE7BMW continues his recovery.

MINUTES

MOTION: Adopt the minutes of the previous meeting as circulated.

Moved VE7MX  Seconded VE7NEK. Carried.

 

CORRESPONDENCE:

-         Liability Insurance invoice has been received.

MOTION: That the Liability Insurance payment of $538 be approved.

Moved VE7ERG  Seconded VE7RWD. Carried.

 

BUSINESS ARISING FROM THE MINUTES:

 

 

VE7CRJ          -    The PEP pandemic exercise went well with no involvement of amateur radio.

-         The Nelson repeater is being moved to Pilot Point as soon as a tower climber

is available

-         The Sparwood ridge repeater is working well.

NEW BUSINESS:

 

VE7CRJ:  -     Volunteers are needed for the Children’s Festival – May 11h.

-         Field Day is June 23/24th. Activities are to be determined.

-         A bicycle race at the Crowsnest Pass (June 2) needs radio communication.

-         A heartfelt “Thank You” was given to VE7NEK, VE7CRJ and VE7LOC for

their efforts.
