BUSINESS ARISING FROM THE MINUTES:

VE7LOC There are three candidates still working toward writing their Basic License exam.

VE7CRJ VE7CRJ will attend a volunteer’s PEP meeting in Victoria: May 2, 3, 4, 2003, as well as a South Country/Elk Valley Emergency Management Committee meeting May 16/03.

VE7NEK The site insurance has been paid. The annual banquet was a success

VE7CRJ VE7CRJ to contact Creston to determine interest in a joint field day.

VE7CRJ MSR 2000 repeater equipment is now ready for installation on Baker Mountain.

NEW BUSINESS:

VE7CRJ Annual Audit to be conducted by VE7LOC, VE7SKT, VE7NEK.

VE7KFR VE7LOC, VE7NEK and VE7SKT respectively are next-call-out for ESS after VE7KFR. The above members should be at the next ESS meeting – date to be announced.

VE7LOC Discussion ensued re: funds generated by membership dues being able to cover operating costs. In view of present operating surplus no action was deemed necessary at this time.
