How To Get Going Immediately
- Select an available map from the toolbar at the top of the window.
- Once the map loads, use the tabs overhead to turn different overlays on and off.
- Colored tabs indicate the overlays that are currently on show.
- Multiple overlays can be turned on simultaneously. Experiment for the best view.
- The top overlay is indicated by the colored bar beneath the line of tabs.
- To re-position an overlay to the top, turn it off then on again.
- Click on the 'Scale' button to turn on the Scale-Bar. Click and Drag to move it around the screen.
- The Scale-Bar is dragable only when it is the top layer. Turn it off then on again to regain control.
- To find a feature on a map, click Locate > Find, then use one of the tools there to load a map.
- To see which maps are available, click Locate > Overview, then chose a map by clicking on the screen.
