Bolting the stem base plate & other work

As well as welding the base plate we decided to bolt it down also, the magnetic drill took it in its stride to drill trough 15mm steel with a 12mm drill once it was kept cool. 6 bolts were used

2 Nuts were welded onto the stabilizing members to allow the adjustable feet to be fixed with bolts

Next a jockey wheel was bolted to the front of the trailer

Some lugs that were damaged during galvanizing were re-made/galvanized & welded before fixing the mudguards in place

We erected the first section of mast to see how it looked & also to locate possible positions for pulley's & winches

Winch support will have to be galvanized
