GERMANY

DASD Deutscher Amateur Sende-Dienst

Stamp on a SWL-card that reported a QSO heard on 30 November 1934.

oOoOoOoOo

Small stamp-like label or seal (image x4) on a SWL report card dated 27 May 1935.

Seal of "Landesgruppe I" of the DASD. It was used as a sort of official validation of the QSL. L.G.L stands for the "Landesgruppenleiter" who was like a chairman of the amateur radio group in a "Land". Each "Land" was subdivided into districts which were all governed by the LGL. The term was used up 1 June 1936 having been replaced by various other abbreviations over the years. (With thanks to Michael, EI3GYB – April 2007)
