PERMANENT DIPLOMA "BEACHES IN SPAIN WITH BLUE FLAG "

Radio Club Cádiz, the radioamateurs association, in order to show the beaches along te Spanish coast awarded with high cuality ambiental price, wich was created and run by the FEEE (Found for the ambiental education in Europe), and ADEAC, the responsible for the FEEE in Spain, and to spread this fact among all the radioamateurs as well as the exchange of activities among these ones, calls for the

PERMANENT DIPLOMA "BEACHES IN SPAIN WITH BLUE FLAG "

Beging the main points as follows:

1.- This Diploma will be international, and all the radioamateurs and SWL will have the chance to obtain it .

2.- The Diploma will take effect from 1 of September of 2000

3.- The bands dealt with will the ones of 2, 10, 15, 20, 40, 80 and 160 metres, always within the segments suggested by the IARU.

4.- The modes will be FM, SSB and CW.

5.- Contacts with mobile or througth booster stations will not be valid on interwoven bands or modes. It will also be impossible to mix the contacts in different bands or modes.

6.- Beaches won´t be activated in built-up ground further than 25 metres away front the line which marks the border of separation between the beach sand and the building on the foreground.

7.- Twenty four hours will have to pass to activate bordering beaches.

8.- The station responsable for the expedition will send the following documents to te Diploma Organization:

8.1.- A copy the administrative authorization of special call sign, or a permit to use its.

own call sign as portable station.

8.2.- A list of the operators that take part in the expedition.

8.3.- A photograph that states the site of the station, as it has been said in point nº6.

8.4.- A copy of the list of successful contacts, where the frequency in use will be

indicateds, not beging valid the contacts where only the band is indicated.

9.- All beaches will be assigned a reference,which will be done as follows:

Example: PAL-014

P : Stands for "playa" ("beach" in Spanish).

AL: Indicative for the province (ALmería).

014: Number used to refer to that beach, within that province.

10.- The people responsible for the expedition, will confirm with QSL the activate reference to each correspondent

11.-For access to the Diploma, the applying station will have to probe its contacts with the following beaches and provinces:

EA stations: 100 beaches and 15 provinces.

EB stations: 20 beaches and 3 provinces.

EC stations: 60 beaches and 10 provinces

Foreings stations: 75 beaches and 10 provinces.

12.- The list of beaches valids for each year will be updated every year by the organisers.

This list will be based on the one published by ADEAC, responsible for the FEEE in

Spain.

13.- Should any kind of doubt, problem or claim arise, they will be addressed to te Diploma Organization :
