EA6FO 2007
CQ WPX CW (SOAB HP)
First of all, I'd like to thank Julio (EA3AIR) for letting me operate the contest in SOAB HP. I also would like to thank Patro (EA3AIR's XYL) and Vicenç (EA6FO) and family, for taking me in their house once again.
The first idea was to operate the contest as EA6IB in M/S HP entry, because we were two operators: Julio (EA3AIR) and me (EA3ALZ), but because of very heavy electric problems at the very beginning of the test which make us be inactive for some hours, we changed our mind and decided that I would operate the contest as EA6FO in SOAB HP entry.
Due to all these problems, I started the contest at 03:23 UTC, a little time before our sunshine, so I lost nearly all the first night, and whith it, the possibility of getting much more punctuation than what I finally did.
But in spite of this and the poor propagation conditions, it has been one of the better contests that I remember, so I only can thank everybody who make this dream come true!
See you in the next one!
Roger, EA3ALZ
