Call Sign
Amateur radio operators use call signs for identification.
In the Philippines, amateur call sign consists of
the prefix, district number and the suffix. The prefix
contains the nationality indicating letter and the
class. The district number specifies from what radio
district does the operator come from. The suffix composed
of one, two or three letters completes the call sign.
e.g.
DX1DBT - DX 1 DBT
DU1GE - DU 1 GE
DY1QIX - DY 1 QIX
